Abstrakt: This work presents the results of study corrosion properties at room temperature in the Lock-Ringer Salt Solution of surface Ti-Ni-Nb alloys synthesized on a TiNi substrate by the electron-beam method. In the initial TiNi samples, the breakdown potential of the passive film is 890 mV, which indicates a high corrosion resistance of the material. It has been established that surface Ti-Ni-Nb alloys exhibit higher corrosion resistance than the initial TiNi alloy. The TiNi-Nb15 alloy (with a lower niobium concentration) is characterized by the best corrosion resistance: a low corrosion current density and a sufficiently high breakdown potential of a passive film.
