The oxidation behavior of ceramic composite materials ZrB2–SiC–ZrC–ZrO2 obtained by sintering under pressure was studied. It was found that the introduction of ZrO2 in the composition of ceramic composites leads to their compaction. An increase in the content of zirconium dioxide in ceramics based on ZrB2 intensified the oxidation process of the surface of composites, which can be demonstrated by the increase in sample mass observed during heating, which has a positive effect on the self-healing of the already formed defects.
