Abstrakt: |
A 3D-printing technology is proposed, that allows the creation of TiC/Ti-6Al-4V composites by use of simultaneous electron beam free form fabrication of Ti-6Al-4V wire material and TiC powder particles. The effect of carbide particles on the wear and friction coefficient of TiC/Ti-6Al-4V metal-matrix composites during tribological tests is investigated. The mechanisms of increasing the wear resistance of TiC/Ti-6Al-4V composites are analyzed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
