Abstrakt: The article presents the discussion on commercially available Pitch and PAN based carbon fibers undergoing surface treatment for cleaning the surface of undesirable scale. Topics include providing chemical functionality for promoting resin wetting and adhesion in composites; and military and civil aviation adopting carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) for the low-weight and high-strength properties.
