Three dimensional hydromagnetic convective flow past a porous vertical plate with sinusoidal suction in slip flow regime.

Abstrakt: An asymptotic series solution to the problem of an MHD convective steady three dimensional flow past a semi-infinite porous vertical plate with sinusoidal suction in slip flow regime in presence of a uniform transverse magnetic field, taking into account the effects of thermal diffusion, diffusion-thermo, and thermal radiation is obtained. Momentum slip, thermal slip. and solutal slip at the plate are considered. The flow is three dimensional merely due to sinusoidal suction. Expressions for the velocity field, temperature field, concentration field, and skin friction, Nusselt number, and Sherwood number are obtained. The effects of the physical parameters entering into flow problem on transport properties, for instance the rates of momentum transfer, heat transfer, and mass transfer are mainly focused.
