Abstrakt: The effect of the phosphorus in zeolite ZSM-5 as a component of cracking catalysts, was studied on the conversion of pure n-dodecane, as well as its mixture with 2-methylthiophene in an amount of 5000 ppm sulfur. It was established that the modification of zeolite ZSM-5 with phosphorus affects the catalytic activity of catalysts based on it. The maximum yield of C2−C4−olefinic hydrocarbons is observed at a phosphorus content of 4 wt. % in zeolite ZSM-5. Modification of zeolite ZSM-5 with phosphorus reduces the degree of conversion of thiophene compounds by reducing the contribution of intermolecular hydrogen transfer and as a result increasing the content of sulfur compounds in cracking liquid products.
