Abstrakt: Brazing is a metal joining process in which two or more metal specimens are joined together by melting and flowing a filler metal into the joint than the adjoining metal. The filler metal is brought slightly above its melting temperature while protected by a suitable atmosphere. The brazing processes are done with 18 brass specimens, where each pair of plates is joined together by butt joint method. Brazed brass 319 joints are tested for the tensile and impact strength. The main purpose of this work is to optimize the parameters in brazing process using Taguchi optimization method. The obtained result will be used in brazing industries to join the brass plates.
