Abstrakt: Thin films have been prepared by casting techniques by blending the same ratio of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) with (0, 0.3, 0.6) % of copper oxide nanoparticles concentrations to production polymer nanocomposite solar cell. Structural properties have been measured by X-ray diffractions (XRD). Copper oxide nanoparticles results showed a five peaks which corresponding to crystalline structures: (110), (002), (202), (111), and (020). Infrared spectrum (FTIR) indicated that the Van der Waals force between polymer and copper oxide nanoparticles. A Field Emission -Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM) have been used to study the morphology of thin film's surfaces and the particle size within the range (40-70)nm. The polymer nanocomposite solar cell photovoltaic properties included a short circuit current and open-circuit voltage (ISC -VOC), besides, that the quantum efficiency equal to 4.6 %.
