Abstrakt:	The article focuses on social identity representations in "50 of the Best Kids' Books Published in the Last 25 Years." The authors explore the history of children's literature, present a study that focuses on identity markers such as age, ethnicity/race, and femininity/masculinity, within children's books, and analyze their findings in relation to Stuart Hall's representation theory.
