Abstrakt:	The article deals with the problem of student effective preparation for future professional activity. Special attention is paid to the importance of students' educational motivation in professional sphere gradual transformation as the basis for effective further realization of professional life path. On the basis of the psychological and pedagogical literature analysis the basic theoretical approaches to determining role of such motivation in the process of professional training are considered. The learning and work main types of motives and their content characteristics are revealed. The students of different courses motivational components related to the educational and work activities peculiarities empirical study results are presented. The features of possible combinations of these motives for student activities are considered. The need for their development during the educational process in higher education is emphasized. Possibilities of methodical tools and techniques during the training sessions application, which would promote a harmonious combination of students educational and work motivation, providing their active professional self-development in the future life are outlined.
