A series of 0.05%/Pd/Al2O3 catalysts were successfully synthesized by different Al2O3 preparation methods and the catalytic performance of the catalysts was evaluated by removing benzene. The physicochemical properties of catalysts were characterized by a series of techniques. The results indicated that 0.05%/Pd/Al2O3 (CP) showed the lowest T50 (190 °C) and T90 (240 °C) under the benzene concentration 600 mg/L and GHSV 60 000 mL/(g·h), which could be attributed to the excellent specific surface area, pore volume, satisfactory reducibility and oxygen mobility.
