Our study targets the elucidation of the role of Cnicus benedictus L. flowers ethanolic extract on the Murine mammary adenocarcinoma cancer cell line (AMN-3) proliferation exploiting miscellaneous sequences of extract as (1, 10, 100, 1000 and 10000 µg/ml.) the results have revealed that the inhibition of cell growth depends on the concentrations of the extract used where the concentrations of (1,10, and 100) µg / ml cause different significant growth inhibition colloquially less than 50% and the concentrations of (1000 and 10000) µg / ml cause significant growth inhibition averaging to (66.4 and 70.4) % passing 24 hours. Based on the results, it appears that concentration and time period are case limiting for cell line growth inhibition. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
