Anacridium aegyptium, subfamily Cyrtacanthacridinae and family Acrididae. In the current study, the antimicrobial activity, we evaluated Anacridium aegyptium methanolic extract by identifying an inhibition area against bacteria and fungi. The maximum area formation against Staphylococcus aureus has been recorded (5.077±0.18). Anacridium aegyptium was very highly active against Asp. flavus (2.750±0.1). The FT IR analysis of Anacridium aegyptium proved of functional group assignment Alkyl-halides, Amid and Alkan with Intensity 75.578 (Strong), 87.413 (Strong), 86.158 (Strong), 84.616 (Bending), 88.087 (Strong) and Peak (Wave number cm-1 ) 1020.34, 1238.30, 1317.38, 1608.63 and 2918.30. It is likely that the strong absorption band recorded was due to bonded observation N-H/C-H/O-H stretching of amine and amide. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
