Complex kinetic studies of the KU-2×8 cation exchanger's oxidative degradation with the Fenton reaction were conducted. The influence of the process temperature and the concentration of hydrogen peroxide on the rate of the KU-2×8 cation exchanger's oxidation was studied. The influence of the concentration of the catalytic additives of copper(II) and iron(II) sulfates on the KU-2×8 cation exchanger's oxidative destruction was estimated. The activation energy values of the reaction of non-catalytic and catalytic oxidation of the KU-2×8 cation exchanger with hydrogen peroxide are established. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
