| Abstrakt: | A series of new 1,3,4-oxadiazoles (3a-j) was synthesized by reacting Schiff's bases (2a-j). The Schiff's bases (2a-j) underwent selective cyclization with chloramine-T to yield the 1,3,4-oxadiazoles (3a-j). Newly synthesized compounds were characterized by spectral studies.
