Two kinds of chloride salt snow-melting agents widely used in deicing process were used under simulated snow-melting agent aqueous solution. The water stability of the semi-flexible asphalt mixture was analyzed by means of periodic soaking, accelerated corrosion, immersion Marshall test, freeze-thaw cyclic splitting test and ultrasonic detection, scanning electron microscopy, DSC and other technical means. In addition, Jamming theory is introduced to analyze the influence of snow melting agent concentration on the water stability of semi -flexible pavement through Jamming phase diagram. Experience analysis result shows that NaCl salt snow melting agent is recommended to be used in deicing of semi-flexible pavement. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
