Abstrakt: Rubella is a worldwide contagious disease caused by Rubella virus. It spreads not only in the tropical area but also in sub-tropics. It is also well-known as non-fatal disease, however in certain cases it can be very dangerous. Pregnant women who are infected by Rubella have a high risk for their fetus development. Babies will be born with the risk of birth defects which is known as an infant with Congenital Syndrome Rubella (CRS) or even death. This study aims to construct and to analyse a disease spread model of Rubella by considering a vaccination scheme as a control. SEIR-V mathematics model has been constructed and two critical points has been obtained, namely the disease-free equilibrium and endemic equilibrium. Eigenvalues from the linearization process through the Jacobi matrix produce a threshold value of the disease spread or basic reproduction number (Ro). By using the chosen parameter, the case of Ro less than 1 has been determined and it shows that a disease-free equilibrium is exist and stable. Meanwhile the case of Ro greater than 1, a stable endemic equilibrium is obtained. This condition leads to the pitchfork bifurcation. In this study numerical simulations are performed to confirm the results of analytical calculations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
