The article presents a study which examined whether a post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) comorbidity affect the decision of how to manage major depressive disorder (MDD) non-response to a first-line antidepressant treatment. Topics discussed include comparison of the impact of PTSD comorbidity, the lack of differences between pairs of treatment groups with or without PTSD and minor interaction of treatment group and PTSD diagnosis, and limitations of the study. |
