The article focuses on the Mars appears to be most suitable for an immediate destination. Topics include Mars, formed about 4.6 billion years ago, has days and seasons similar to those on Earth; Mars had a thick atmosphere that retained enough heat and liquid water and a strong magnetic field; and Mars have revealed dried up lakes and run-off channels as evidence of once existing sources of surface water. |
