Based on the penetration evaluation system and PG classification system, the effects of SEAM content and the SBS modifier dosage on the high and low temperature properties and rheological properties of the modified asphalt were studied. The road performance of SEAM/SBS composite modified asphalt mixture was studied through laboratory tests. The results show that the penetration index of SEAM/SBS composite modifier can meet the technical standard of JTG F40--2004 Technical Specification for Construction of Highway Asphalt Pavements. Under the 3.5% SBS + (30%, 40%) SEAM compounding scheme, SEAM/SBS compound modified asphalt has outstanding high and low temperature properties and thermal storage stability. Compared with 5%SBS modified asphalt mixture, SEAM/SBS composite modified asphalt mixture has lower sensitivity to temperature, high adaptability to high temperature environment, better fatigue durability, and the water stability and low temperature crack resistance is close.
