Abstrakt: As a result of efforts to meet individual customer needs, the complexity of onsite logistics processes in many companies is increasing. This has a significant impact on the mileage, utilization and sustainability of the material handling systems used. The modernization of the material handling machine systems, the continuous improvement of their operating strategy has become the goal determining the competitiveness of the company, which leads to the reduction of the specific energy consumption – per unit of motion – and the environmental load caused by it. The preparation of the publication was induced by industrial research carried out by the Logistics Institute of the University of Miskolc. After a detailed analysis of the relevant literature, the paper describes the details of the developed procedure and presents a case study on how to apply it. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
