The article acquaints the readers with the history of the fund â„- 544, which holds a collection of book and magazine covers of 1901"1943. Judging by the stamps on the backs, most of them come from the Museum of Liberation Struggle of Ukraine, which operated in Prague from 1925 to 1948. The collection was included in the Archive-Museum in 1970, but due to the fact that many artists were considered 'enemies of the people' by then current authorities, mainly graphic designers of the publications, as well as a large number of writers' authors of the books themselves, the covers were kept 'secret' until Ukraine gained independence.
