The article discusses issues that emerged in the 2017 trial of former Chad president Hissène Habré before the appellate chamber of the Extraordinary African Chambers (EAC) in the Courts of Senegal, particularly the inclusion of sexual crimes on the list of crimes against humanity. Also cited are the need to revise the charges against Habré to comply with the principle of legality. |
