Abstrakt: Aircraft landing performance analysis is one of the complex and challenging tasks for commercial flight operation. Landing impact on the aircraft structure is one of the main factors in terms of the safety issue. This present study is mainly focusing on the development of the landing efficiency analysis tools with the help of a Fuzzy Inference System (FIS). Mamdani type Fuzzy inference system has proposed for this study. In this model, a fuzzy system is a supervisory expert system. The knowledge is taken through the use of If-Then rules with linguistic terms. Here, a trapezoidal membership function is applied because of its computational efficiency and reduced complexity. Based on aircraft landing performance FIS logic, maintenance personnel can predict preventive maintenance. Similarly, aircraft designer can improve the design safety factor in the future aircraft manufacturing process through FIS rules analysis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
