Abstrakt: |
The influence of domino theory on the formulation of US policy on the Vietnam conflict during the 1950-1965 period is article considered in the article. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the origins of the domino theory as a conceptual framework for US foreign policy in the mid-twentieth century, to trace its development at the cadences of Presidents D. Eisenhower, J. Kennedy, and L. Johnson in the formation of the US position in the militarypolitical conflict in Vietnam context. The conclusion is that domino theory had a significant impact on the US leadership’s view of the Vietnamese problem. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
