With all the advances made in various fields of science and technology, dentistry still retains its art attribute. Interfering with the oral sphere, with multiple psycho-affective connotations, the dentist must look at the therapeutic act both aesthetically and functionally. The social impact of the facial physiognomy often determines that patients are more interested in the aesthetic aspect of the restoration than in the functional one. All-ceramic restoration refers to that type of prosthetic restoration that is made strictly of ceramic, without a metal infrastructure. Depending on the system and the ceramic mass used to obtain these types of restorations, indications for their use frequently occur in the case of coronary lesions in the form of inlays, onlays, facets, crowns, or multi-tooth prosthetic restorations. The procedure for performing these restorations is a complex one (CADCAM) and is currently the fastest and most accurate method of obtaining ultra-aesthetic restorations with a minimally invasive intervention on dental structures.
