Abstrakt:	This paper claims to reflect upon some critical essays in which Gianni Celati deals with the issues of vision, perception, and literary description of the space. Through the analysis of some texts where Celati refers to painting and sculpture (particularly Alberto Giacometti's works), it will emerge the author's thought about art and the characteristics of his non-fiction writing will be highlighted as well.
