The article discusses that as Congress considers policy responses to the global spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019, members of Congress may consider the impact of the pandemic on U.S. foreign assistance agencies and programs; and mentions the USAID has led U.S. foreign assistance efforts to address the impact of COVID-19, in conjunction with domestic and international activities of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). |
