The new millennium has created many challenges for tourism service providers, namely hotel companies as a central archetype in the tourism value system. Among them, the globalization, standardization and internationalization of tourism and hotel facilities have created a complex circumstance in which hotel facilities in Kosovo will create a quality and attractive offer that will mark success in competitive tourism markets. In this context, the primary responsibilities of hotel managers are to formulate and optimize effective and competitive strategies within strategic management. Strategic management is a very complex activity of modern managers, which today in the modern international environment is the only means of achieving competition. Within it, different types of strategies have been defined for defining the areas and directions of doing business. Among them, the quality of hotel services is an important factor for the successful positioning of hotel companies in the market. Faced with major economic, political and social developments, Kosovo's economy was unable to develop hotel business, although there are significant natural and cultural values for tourism development on the territory of Kosovo. Today, in addition to focusing on resolving current problems and conditions, increasing attention is being paid to promoting and developing hotel businesses as a cornerstone of tourism. The growing interest in hotel business in Kosovo is due to the impact and effects of tourism on employment growth and the amount of total income and GDP of the country.
