The article examines Nigeria's commitment to combating the global challenge posed by climate change using the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2015 Paris Agreement. It mentions that Nigeria contributes among the least towards global climate change due to low levels of industrial and technological development; and also mentions the impact of climate change in Nigeria spills over to different countries due to its strategic geography and population in addition to transboundary effects. |
