Abstrakt:	A technology is proposed for the machining of keyways in long flexible shafts. The corresponding equipment is based on a lathe with an added frame that includes self-centering rests. That increases the accuracy of slot milling by a factor of 3–5. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
