Topics include the 1967 opera Louis Riel, composed by Harry Somers in collaboration with Jacques Languirand; and references E.D. Blodgett's notion of the limitations of Canadian bilingualism; and that Louis Rielthe opera increases the difficulties of accommodating the various nations that exist within Canada. |
