This study aims to design and implement a functional, accurate and reliable Flood Monitoring Station (FMS) capable of data profiling and dissemination of water height at San Juan River. The study composes of two systems – Measuring and Transmission Module and the Database Module. The Measuring and Transmission Module consists of Ultrasonic Sensor, which measures water level and ESP32 for distribution of data. The data acquired is filtered using the Smoothing Averaging Technique. The Database Module comprises router that provides a dedicated line to Raspberry Pi and ESP-32 in order to access information in the provided localhost server. This help the residents to be aware regarding the water level of the river to prevent the increasing number of flood accidents which causes sickness, death and injuries. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
