The article presents a case study in which the patient was an 8 year old Hispanic boy with a 6 year history of erythematous thickening of soles with pruritus and periodontal disease with loss of deciduous and permanent dentition. There was no history of atopy in the patient or his family and no history of systemic diseases. Past medical history was positive for extensive periodontal destruction and multiple teeth extracted at ages 5 and 8 years. The family history was negative for similar lesions or tooth loss. |
