Abstrakt: GL-1 is single-seat mid-performance sailplane, designed to be Indonesian National Glider. GL-1 have been developed since 2014. The development produced a half scale prototype called BL-1, which had accomplished static test in 2016, then followed by first flight test in 2017. Full scale prototype is currently being fabricated, with flight test and type certification scheduled for 2020. Currently, there are no specific airworthiness design regulation for sailplane in Indonesia. Study of several regulation in America and Europe suggest that Certification Specification (CS)-22 from European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is the most suitable airworthiness regulation and specification for sailplane design. EASA CS-22 is divided into 9 subparts, with total of 260 Certification Specifications (CS) and 49 Applicable Means of Compliance (AMC). According to the study, only 162 CS and 45 AMC is applicable for GL-1 design. Furthermore, only 59 CS and 17 AMC is applicable and relevant for internal configuration and control mechanism. Those regulations are mapped and derived into 79 requirements for internal configuration and control mechanism. The result of this study will be used as design basis for GL-1 internal configuration and control mechanism. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
