Low molecular weight sodium polyacrylate (SN-1) was synthesized by using water as solvent and potassium persulfate-sodium bisulfate-formaldehyde as initiator at room temperature. The effects of monomer concentration, chain transfer agent concentration, initiator concentration and reaction time on the molecular weight of sodium polyacrylate were studied by orthogonal test, and the optimum ratio of each factor was determined. By mixing SN-1 with ordinary polycarboxylate water reducer, the segregation of concrete was improved, and the workability of concrete was greatly improved. C50 concrete which meets the A2 block project of Jinan Greenland Central Business District was successfully prepared. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
