Nanoparticles (GONPs) have attracted a lot of attention during last 25 years ago because their applications such as drug delivery, biosensor, antimicrobials and anticancer activity. In the current work, the in vitro effects of Gold nanoparticles GNPs, and Graphene oxide nanoparticles GONPs as anti-inflammatory agents was measured by treated of Bone marrow derived macrophages BMDMs to LPS and ATP in the presence and absence of GNPs and GONPs. GNPs and GONPs inhibited LPS, ATP induced interleukin 6 (IL-6), and Tumor necrosis factor –alpha (TNF-α) production by BMDMs cells in a dose dependent manner. The present work exhibited that GNPs and GONPs could modulate immune system parameters and act as anti-inflammatory agents. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
