A compound is prepared and its structure is confirmed via FTIR and HNMR spectroscopies. Schiff base was grafted on PVC chains to get flexible PVC. The link of the (L) with the PVC resulted in creating a homogenous polymeric mixture. PVC-L-Cu(II) has been produced by adding PVC-L to copper chloride. Polymeric films had been exposed to UV light 300 hours and investigated by FTIR, weight loss percentage and SEM. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
