Abstrakt: There have been measurements of output radiation dose for X-Ray device Hitachi Specifications X-ray, model: ZU-L3TY, tube data serial number KC11672609 with used piranha multimeter and dosage values calculated on aluminum filters and copper filters. Measurements were made under conditions of 70 kV and 81 kV voltage and time currents of 20 mAs with varying thicknesses ranging from unfiltered and added filter sheets for aluminum filters respectively 3 mm Al, 4.1 mm Al, 4.3 mm Al, 4.5 mm Al and 5 mm Al. Each copper filter is measured at thicknesses ranging from without copper filters and copper sheets added with thicknesses of 0.05 mm Cu, 0.10 mm Cu, 0.15 mm Cu, 0.20 mm Cu and 0.30 mm Cu. From the analysis results of x-ray aircraft output measurements obtained x-ray aircraft are still within tolerance limits. And after calculating the average value of the effective dose obtained at 0.038 mSv on the aluminum filter. Then an effective dose measurement is performed on the copper filter with a value of 0.043 mSv. From these results it was found that the effective dose in this study was smaller than the value of the effective dose in accordance with UNSCEAR 2000 provisions which amounted to 0.74 mSv. So that the material filter from aluminum and copper still can be used on x-ray device. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
