Abstrakt: Structural systems designed for tall buildings move due to wind action, having in mind that these structures have become more slender and more sensitive to dynamic wind excitations and thus more vulnerable to excessive vibrations. This way, this research work aims to evaluate the dynamic structural behaviour of a 48‐story steel‐concrete composite building, total height of 172.8 m, storey height equal to 3.6 m, dimensions of 45 m by 32 m, when subjected to wind actions. This investigation considers the results of the non‐deterministic dynamic analysis of the building, aiming to evaluate the service limit states. The conclusions obtained of this study, based on the peak accelerations values, indicate that the investigated building does not satisfy the human comfort criteria. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
