Abstrakt: The occurrence of goat warbles in Rohila goats was studied in endemic areas of Pakistan. Eight flocks of goats ( n = 1000) in four villages at Fort Munro and six flocks ( n = 800) in three villages at Rakni were examined. The study was conducted on animals during the third and fourth weeks of December 1996. The occurrence at Fort Munro and Rakni was 18 and 35%, respectively. At Fort Munro and Rakni, the degree of infestation ranged up to 40 and 50% of the animals in the flocks, respectively. Ivermectin at a dosage of 200 μg/kg was 100% effective against L2 and L3 life stages. Funding: Self-funded. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
