Abstrakt: Alcohol dependence is highly prevalent in India and these patients when abstinent from alcohol following treatment may be prone to develop cognitive impairment to varying degrees. The worst affected brain functions are related to visual and spatial aspects, continuous motor incorporation, reasoning abilities, shortterm memory. The study was a prospective cross-sectional study.
