The purpose of the conducted research is to discover the habits and behavior of consumers in Macedonia regarding the use and acceptance of digital banking products and services. Specific research objectives are: (1) To find out what percentage of consumers in Macedonia are buying online products and how this percentage varies depending on gender, age and professional status; (2) Determine what percentage of the total number of respondents use Internet banking and how this percentage varies depending on gender, age and professional status; (3) To see the attitude of the consumers in Macedonia regarding the security of the e-banking and m-banking services. The survey was conducted between January and March 2019 using the GoogleForms structured questionnaire. The survey was conducted on a sample sample of 250 respondents, consumers from different age groups and a different profile of individuals, in order to draw conclusions about their habits, needs, degree of readiness and openness towards the digitalization of banking.
