The article focuses on young marchers in the ongoing protests in Hong Kong China triggered by the proposed amendment bill by the Hong Kong government that would have allowed extraditions to mainland China. Topics covered include the preference of many of the youth protesters in Hong Kong to martyrs rather than be prison inmates, comparison of the pro-democracy uprisings in Hong Kong of the past with the current protests, and public opinion on the ongoing protests. |
