Abstrakt: The article "Cyril of Alexandria and Nestorius - Great Opponents" deals with the disagreement between Cyril of Alexandria and Nestorius primarily from a literary perspective. It concerns the way they wrote among themselves. If the article assumes a dogmatical position, then this is because of the main theme. The history of the disagreement is mentioned here, as well as their biographies. The presentations from their remaining literary works (Epistulae, Adversus Nestorium, Dialogus cum Nestorio) together with their analysis are dominant. We can see that in mutual correspondence and dialogue, the parties did not have regard for words. They employ a style of writing in accordance with this, especially when it comes to Cyril of Alexandria. The article shows that in Christian Antiquity, cold or in other words "unpolished" style of text comes into existence as it reveals the truth. A critical edition of the collected works of Cyril of Alexandria - including Epistulae, Adversus Nestorium, Dialogus cum Nestorio - still does not exist today. Therefore, the translation of presentations was taken from Migne PG 76 and 77. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
