| Abstrakt: | The article reports on a territory of hills and mountains in North of Tuscany and north-west of Italy that sometimes exceed 2,000 meters. Crossed by the Magra river and its tributaries which flow into the Tyrrhenian Sea, this region has for a long time been an important route of passage between the Po plain and Tuscany. |
