Abstrakt:	The article describes the case of an 8-year-old who presented to the emergency department (ED) with rash on her legs, thighs and buttocks, and joint pain. Topics covered include some of the common differential diagnosis for rash with joint pain in children, the results of the examination and laboratory testing which led to the diagnosis of Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP), and HSP management and prognosis, as well as patient outcome.
