The concept of job satisfaction, which is described in the literature, can be explained in general terms as the satisfaction of an employee in terms of wages, job conditions, subordinate-parent relationship and the way of doing the job. When we think that working people spend most of their lives in the workplace, we can say that those who achieve their goals in the work environment are satisfied, in other words, those who do not meet their expectations are unhappy and experience dissatisfaction. This shows the economic and psychological importance of job satisfaction. In this research, it is aimed to determine the job satisfaction levels of the provincial staff of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and in this context, it is descriptive in the screening model. The population of the study consists of the provincial staff of the General Directorate of Sports affiliated to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the sample consists of 368 employees from 11 different cities who were included in the study using simple random sampling method. ''Personal Information Form'' consisting of 9 items prepared by the researcher in order to determine the demographic characteristics of the participants and Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale, developed by Weiss, Dawis, England and Lofquist (1967) and adapted into Turkish by Baycan (1985) was used to determine job satisfaction levels. IBM SPSS Statistic 25 package program was used for data analysis. Data are expressed as percentage (%), frequency, average and standard deviation values. Nonparametric tests were used to determine the differences between the variables in the non-normal distribution data. Although similar studies have been conducted in public and private institutions operating in various fields, especially in the service sector, this research has been applied in public institutions providing sports services. Employees who participated in the questionnaire were asked information such as 'Professional Year, Wage and Title' and the findings obtained from all variables were discussed in detail. As a result, it was determined that there were significant differences in job satisfaction levels of the participants, and the most significant difference was caused by the variables of Department and Title.
