Introduction and purpose: In this study, the relationships between anthropometric and physical fitness values of elite figure skaters were investigated. Methods: Twenty-one elite athletes (11-16 years, female n: 12, male n: 9) participated in the study. Females were evaluated in three age groups and males in two age groups. Anthropometric measurements were taken according to ISAK protocol (1). Σ6 and Σ8 skinfold thickness, body fat (%) (2), body mass index (BMI), Manouvrier Index, waist/hip ratio and somatotype components (Group II, III in females and Group II in males) were calculated (3). In addition, balance, flexibility, hand grip, vertical jump, agility, overhead medicine ball throw, speed and endurance tests were applied to all groups. Descriptive statistical analyzes were performed using IBM SPSS 25.0 statistical program. Pearson's Correlation Coefficient (r) was used to determine the interrelationships between antropometry and physical fitness parameters. The level of significance was set as p <0.01 and p <0.05. Results: In male, body weight, body height, arm span, sitting height, BMI, humerus breadth, foot length, except balance and agility, were correlate with all physical fitness parameters (p <0.01, p <0.05). Girth measurements were correlate with hand grip, vertical jump, overhead medicine ball throw, speed and endurance (p <0.01, p <0.05). Endomorphy was found to be associated flexibility and endurance negatively correlated (p <0.05). In girls, body weight, body height, arm span, sitting height, BMI were correlate with flexibility, hand grip, overhead medicine ball throw, (p <0.01, p <0.05). Girth measurements were correlate with flexibility, hand grip, vertical jump, overhead medicine ball throw (p <0.01, p <0.05). Breadth measurements were found to be associated hand grip (p <0.01, p <0.05). Conclusion: Evaluating the relationship between morphological features and motor skills with specific field tests and standardized tests conducted at regular intervals in athletes may contribute to the selection of athletes, training plans of the relevant federations and direct their goals correctly.
