The article reports on the complex relationship between food and social work. There is a wealth of heterogeneous and more or less differentiated knowledge bases on both subject areas, which are often insufficiently founded or systematically linked, both theoretically and empirically. On the one hand, dealing with the topic of food opens up a broad scientific field, which is characterized above all by interdisciplinarity. Even if different reference sciences shed light on different aspects, it can be said that it is primarily the science-oriented life sciences that work on the subject and claim it for themselves. |
